January 23, 2011- AMA National Hare
and Hound (round1) Lucerne, CA

Van is packed and me and a friend Cole Frusteri Are ready to hit the road. So pumped to go to the first round and down to the south where it's a bit different and warmer. Friday and Saturday were awesome, did all out meals either over a great that was above fire, or our propane bottle stoves. Saturday got signed up, where i received my pie plate number N320. Got some runs in on the 3 mile bomb run. Sunday rolled around, banner went down, and 3 kicks to get my bike started....Bad Start. So after everyone started to funnel i was sitting around 70+ bike back. Kept gaining positions, and wiping dust off my goggles, felt really good. Before i knew it it i was up and over a hill and rolling in to the pits. Goggles, gas, water, and off. about to take off and got told i got coolan leaking everywhere, had a puncture in my radiator. it was a bummer but still had a great time. Thank you Suzy Johnson for the use of your van, DH1, Dirt Tricks, Mark Diverse, Tech 1 Designs, Pirelli, Desert Inferno, and McCoy's Offroad!

February 13, 2011- AMA National Hare
and Hound (round 2), Ridgecrest, CA

The weekend went really well, ended up going down with a friend and his family so it made it cheaper doing the fuel bill 2 ways. Got down there fri. night, set up camp, and got some things ready for the next day. Saturday had a little more work to do to my bike, so i completed that by noon. Got to sign up and practice the bomb run (start) until we started to loose light. Sunday was the big Day, got all prepared and down to the start to get an alright line up. The start was an interesting, tough, and hard to find good lines, mostly because of all the big bushes everywhere. Had a decent start that i really couldn't complain too much about. Got 10 miles in and some passing later and i was in the top 15 (Didn't know at the time). Did have some issues on a tough hill after leaving the pits, took me three tries, and film crew got it so that should be ridiculous to watch. only other problems was getting lost 5 different times and lost a position every time and a great deal of time. Finished the race and finished with a 13th oa for the day. I'm really pumped, don't think it could gone a whole lot better. My goal was a top ten, but i will have to settle, just pumped i didn't have any complications with me or the bike and pulled the finish. I was a great time and i thank you again! Thank you to everyone that supports me and contributed, DH1, Dirt Tricks, Mark Diverse, Tech 1 Designs, Pirelli, Desert Inferno, and McCoy's Offroad!

March 6, 2011- MRANN Round 2 Doyle, CA

WOW, This was a really tough race for me. I was sick a week prior to this race and still am fighting it. I was debating even going the morning of race cause of how i felt, i manned up. The conditions were pretty epic been raining the day prior and that morning. My start was with in the top ten, i moved to the third oa position quickly. I had Reece Honea on my tail chasing after 2nd. we moved passed him as Belengari put a gap on us. Reece and I traded positions a few times, finally got him back on the 2nd lap cause of lappers in a tough section. had some stomach/breathing issues that almost had me quit, but i fought through. On my third lap just tryed to stay on the fast pace cause i knew reece was hot on my tail. I passed dennis ten miles to the finish, he had bike failure. I got it to the finish and took the OA. So glad I put it all together and made it happen.Thank you to everyone that supports me and contributed, DH1, Dirt Tricks, Mark Diverse, Tech 1 Designs, Pirelli, Desert Inferno,  Trailblazer pits, and McCoy's Offroad!

March 27, 2011 - D-36/MRANN
(round3) Cross Country HS Toulon, NV

Headed out to toulon,, Nv , conditions look like there going to be pretty epic as far as dirt goes. Pumped to go against the district guys and see if i can improve from previous years. They did more of a GP style start with more rows. I started 1st row, Still managed to have a not so good start. Brian Garrahan (#1 D36 racer) holeshoted. I got through the pack fairly quick and got behind graham as well as Ross Neeley. We all traded places for a bit, in and out of the lead. Finally it was me and neeley going back and forth. it continued the same out to the second lap. i made a few mistakes and dropped the bike losing time allowing Neeley to gap me. The course was really fun and challenging, it was suppose to course for a H&H that WSRA was planning to have but did not pull get permits in time. Neeley took the win and i got the second. Still was a great accomplishment beating all the district guys. Want to thank my sponsors, DH1, Dirt Tricks, Mark Diverse, Tech 1 Designs, Pirelli, Desert Inferno,  Trailblazer pits, and McCoy's Offroad!

April 9, 2011- AMA National Hare and Hound (round 5)
Jericho, UT and MRANN (round4) MVDS Hawthorne, NV

This was a really tough and expensive weekend. My plan was to leave and drive 9 hrs. to Jericho, UT  to race the National H&H and load up and drive another 8hrs to hawthorn to cat the Mrann race out there Sunday. On my really long drive to Utah the conditions were snowy the whole time which had me a little worried, kept moving forward. It continued to lightly snow throughout the night and during the whole race.Had a not so great start, but started to get in a grove and picking guys off, moving toward top 15. got in to some trees and hit a tree trunk that put me to the ground and gave me a sideways frontend. my only pair of rlloff got san in them and quit on me which was a fail for the wet/muddy conditions. made it through the first lap and me and a few guys leaving the pits followed wrong marking and got us lost for a good 5 minutes, finally backtracked and got on course. second lad was more challenging and muddy, more goggle issues. finished the race and got and 18th overall, which i was surprised cause all of the issues. I was quiche to load up and get out of my wet/frozen gear to get warm and hit the road to hawthorne. Hit hawthorne around 9:30pm. was so glad to be where the weather was warmer. Got up that morning where it was all running, trying to get 50 pounds of mud off, sign up, new filter, clean gear, straiten frontend tech… Made it all work out. Gott a not so good start but worked my way to 4th by the end of the first 8mi. GP lap. Reece and i Battled a little while and i got past to move me to 3rd. Underwoods bike quit moving me to second. on my 4th lap i landed off a jump and bike went o neutral where i looked down and i threw a chain and cracked the case on my bike. Neely won the event followed By Honea. It was a really challenging weekend to make happen bymyself and in my little ford ranger. It was worth it, want to thank my grandparents and parents for the additional gas money for my trip and thank my great sponsors, McCoy's Offroad, DH1, Dirt Tricks, Mark Diverse, Tech 1 Designs, Pirelli, Desert Inferno, Trailblazer pits!

April 30, 2011- Virginia City Grand Prix,
Virginia City, NV

Yes!!! One of my favorite races of the year, my home race "The Virginia City GrandPrix". Me and Ed McCoy did a ton of race prep before this race going threw my whole bike cause it's a long bike beating race. The conditions were dusty, but a good temperature. I started 3rd row of the pro class, also known as the "cash class". Justin soul, Garrahan's, an bunch of fast guy's showed up for the event. start was ok, where it was grahann, soule', than me. I figured i stay close with them and pick of guys knowing they were top contenders. i did end up getting past them and moving forward. Soule had another bad year and put a hole in his case which was a bummer. i got to the top 4 by lap2. I rode my race well, very consistent and fast. I faded a littlest mentally and physically last two laps allowing Ryan Dudec, and Rodney Spencer by and move past. I finished a fourth place. Still pumped on result but was really wanting to win it. A huge thanks to my sister with my entree,  parents helping with tires, McCoy's offroad for all the great help preparing, support, pit at his event, and to all my great sponsors that gave it the extra bit this race, DH1, Dirt Tricks, Mark Diverse, Tech 1 Designs, Pirelli, Desert Inferno!
